Hi, I’m Rose — a passionate online English tutor with a love for connection, creativity, and growth. A few years ago, my husband and I left the fast pace of London behind and embraced the calm of the French countryside, where we’re surrounded by the nature I adore.
I’m genuinely excited to embark on this journey with you—one filled with discovery, meaningful conversations, and personal growth. As a passionate educator, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my students reach their goals and grow in confidence. “And, in addition, I honestly learn just as much from you along the way.”
Living in France, I deeply understand the struggles that can come with learning a new language. Even when you have the right word and spelling, pronunciation can still be tricky. But here’s the beautiful part: those moments of confusion often lead to smiles, laughter, and also, even a bit of creative sign language. With patience, perseverance, and a positive mindset, those small hurdles become stepping stones.
It would bring me great joy to support you—not only in speaking English with confidence but in truly connecting with the language through both conversation and writing. Together, I believe we can build not just skills, but a lasting friendship that makes learning all the more meaningful.
My Mission
My personal teaching style is all about making learning fun, engaging, and tailored to you. Whether we’re working on conversation skills, grammar, writing, or phonetics (especially for younger learners), I like to keep things lively and meaningful. I love words, books, and articles — the places they can take us are pure magic!
We might read together, dive into a creative writing project, or explore real-life scenarios using images — like chatting about your family, a trip to the beach, or going to the cinema and your favourite movie stars. If you’re polishing up an essay, we can focus on structure and grammar to make it shine.
